Dan Orlovsky makes daring promise if Tom Brady unretires to play for Raiders and ESPN stars ‘are all rooting for it’

ESPN analyst Dan Orlovsky entered himself into a risky bet on live TV.

Orlovsky is so confident in one of his NFL takes that he is willing to risk his hair.

While discussing the Las Vegas Raiders’ draft decisions, the topic of quarterbacks came up.

The Raiders opted not to draft a quarterback, which caused the Get Up crew to speculate that maybe Tom Brady could come out of the retirement for them.

Orlovsky was adamant that Brady isn’t going to play for the Raiders in 2024, and wagered his eyebrows on it.

“I don’t know if they grow back, but if Brady plays for the Raiders this year I’ll shave my eyebrows,” Orlovsky said.

“As long as they grow back.”

The rest of the Get Up crew quickly made it known that they were “rooting for it” to happen so they could see Orlovsky with no eyebrows.

NFL fans seemed to think the opposite of Orlovsky, and told him to start growing his eyebrows out now.

“Haha, better start growing out those brows, Dan!” one fan said.

“Yes Dan they grow back,” another fan said.

“Haha sorry Dan, but I highly doubt Brady is heading to the Raiders this year! No need to stock up on eyebrow pencils just yet,” a third fan said.

There’s always a non-zero chance that Brady will return to the league, but it is even more threatening to Orlovsky that Brady said he would be willing to pick up the phone.

In an interview with the Deep Cut Podcast, Brady made it known that he’s keeping the door open on an NFL return.

The host of the podcast asked Brady how he would respond to this hypothetical scenario:

“Let’s say, one day there’s a situation, right?” he said.

“Maybe it’s the 49ers, you know headed to the playoffs, offense is great.

“God forbid somebody goes down, would you pick up that phone?”

If Brady plays for the Raiders this year I’ll shave my eyebrows.

After a deep breath, Brady let him know he’s “not opposed” to a return.

“I don’t know. I’m always gonna be in good shape, always gonna be able to throw the ball,” Brady said.

“So to come in for a little bit, like MJ [Michael Jordan] coming back… I wouldn’t be opposed to it.”

Brady has been linked to the Raiders more than most teams thanks to his quest to become a part owner.

If the team starts to have quarterback struggles during the season Orlovsky might get nervous for his eyebrows.
